I converted my "death demon" ink design into soft-textured chenille patches and sewed them to black and white "T.V. static" beanies using rainbow thread that emulates the colors of a "Test Signal" screen. The beanies are extremely soft, comfortable, and warm. I used a zig-zag stitch on the beanies so that the patches won't tear from the beanie.

I've been obsessed with the album ENTERTAINMENT, DEATH by Spirit of the Beehive, particularly the idea it presents that life can be summed up with a series of distractions and entertainments until one day we expire. I wanted to create a beanie that embodies entertainment in it's most impotent state - a static television - where one can catch a glimpse of death's profile while basking in the warm glow of their television screen.
